Our Story

Lil' Libros was born out of a deep desire to make a positive impact on our littlest ones. It all began in Los Angeles when two friends and mothers, Patty Rodriguez and Ariana Stein came together with a vision to create captivating books that they did not have access to growing up—books that celebrate cultural diversity and bilingual literature in English and Spanish with boundless enthusiasm and a commitment to quality, they embarked on a journey to ignite the imaginations of children everywhere!

Our Philosophy:

At Lil' Libros, we believe that every child has the power to dream in two languages. Our philosophy is rooted in four key principles:

Diversity: We celebrate the rich tapestry of the American Latino experience that make our country and world unique. Our books reflect the diverse backgrounds of children, allowing them to see themselves and their communities in the stories we tell by collaborating with talented authors and illustrators who share our vision and commitment.

Two languages: We believe that language is a bridge that connects people and opens doors to new opportunities. Our bilingual books celebrate the beauty and duality of English and Spanish, fostering language development and cultural understanding.

Joy: Learning should be a joyful experience! We infuse our books with fun, humor, and interactive elements to engage children's imaginations and make reading an exciting adventure they'll eagerly embark on – in two languages!

Quality: When you see our logo, you expect quality! We take great pride in crafting books of the highest standard. From the carefully selected stories to the stunning illustrations, every aspect of our books is thoughtfully designed to captivate young readers and nurture their love for reading.

We invite you to join us on this extraordinary journey of imagination, learning, and cultural celebration. Together, let's inspire a generation of curious minds, ignite the joy of reading, and create a world where every child can thrive and embrace the magic of dreaming in two languages.

Welcome to Lil' Libros, where stories come alive, dreams take flight, and two languages opens doors to endless possibilities!

The Founders:

Patty Rodriguez

Patty Rodriguez, unable to find bilingual first concept books she could enjoy reading to her baby, Patty came up with the idea behind Lil’ Libros. Mother of two and a community leader that enjoys empowering tomorrow’s young leaders at conferences and summits, can be seen on a Saturday morning cheering her oldest son at a soccer game. You can listen to her every morning on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Ariana Stein
