I purchased this doll for my daughter when it was first released. I believe that was over two years ago now. My daughter has slept with her virgen every single night since. If we leave town, plane or car, it doesn't matter: virgen comes with. I've never seen a doll so loved and believed to be so magical and a safety net. That alone makes me give this 5 stars. It really is just a beautiful doll as well. However, I will say the cloak does get in the way and isn't secured to the head very well. It was probably just under a year before it came apart completely and I had to use my very limited sewing skills to fasten it on better than before. That lasted about a year and it's now hanging by a single thread and will need mending again. I also recognize that as loved on as the doll has been, it's a minor inconvenience. Though I'd humbly recommend the manufacturers tending to this issue if that's a possibility with future production. As of now, I will be purchasing one for my best friend's daughter in the hopes her little one adores it as much as my girl, and that the doll makes her feel so very safe at night in her bed.
